Did you ever want to get to an icon on your Windows 95 desktop, but you had all these other applications open and blocking your way. You had to close them one by one, or minimize them to the taskbar one by one.
Well, there’s a better way! Just single-click anywhere in the taskbar where there isn’t a minimized program icon (such as near the clock at the right side). Then, hold the ALT key while hitting the M key (M for Minimize).

All open windows will instantly be minimized to the taskbar, leaving you a clean, unobstructed view of your desktop. Now you can start another application just by clicking its icon.
